Josh Wood is a Software Developer on SimplyVAT’s Tech Team. He joined us in 2019 as part of his university's work experience program. Now he’s full-time and a core member of the team.
Josh’s career at SimplyVAT started with a year of work experience. He enjoyed his time here enough to stay on whilst he finished his degree, then join us full-time.

Josh reached five years at SimplyVAT in 2024. When SimplyVAT team members reach that milestone, they get a gift of their choosing, worth up to £500. Josh got tickets to Silverstone to see the British Grand Prix.

Whilst the day-to-day work hasn’t changed much, the projects have. The Tech Team have overseen the expansion of the software that SimplyVAT supports internally and externally.
