From Client Manager to Data Specialist 

Julieta joined SimplyVAT in 2023, bringing industry knowledge to her role as a Client Manager. The next year, she was promoted into what was then a brand-new role at SimplyVAT – Imports and Purchases Specialist – thanks in part to the training and experience she gained as a Client Manager. 

Julieta has worked with people and departments across SimplyVAT to define the role, adapting it to the company’s needs.

What the Imports and Purchases Specialist does at SimplyVAT

As our Imports and Purchases Specialist, Julieta handles our clients’ import and purchase data. A typical day is fast-paced and varied: 

• Reviewing purchase and import data for inclusion on VAT returns
• Communicating with Clients and Client Managers for additional details and clarification
• Making sure data is accurate, so clients remain compliant
• Supporting the team with advice and simplifying complex data
